Clayton Ruby has a plan and needs our help. Please sign this letter and share it as far and wide as possible:

Have you heard about the latest attempt by the Harper government to silence us in an effort to push through his tar sands agenda? The National Energy Board -- the folks who determine whether or not projects like the Enbridge Line 9b or the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline are in Canada's best interest -- has new regulations that make it unreasonably difficult for citizens like you and me to participate in hearings. Why? In an effort to stream line the approval process.

This is not the Canada I know and love; so I've signed an open letter that civil rights lawyer Clayton Ruby will deliver to federal party leaders, urging them to debate this new rule in Parliament.

Will you join me? Help Clayton get to 25,000 signatures so he can fight for our rights to speak up for our environment and the safety and health of our communities. Visit http://org.salsalabs.com/o/281/p/dia/action3/common/public/?action_KEY=14060 and sign on NOW!

Thanks!

I've just sent my emails, and you should, too. Visit http://org.salsalabs.com/o/281/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=13227

Thank you for again standing with me against this trade treaty.

Yours,
