Comment on Canadian job loses

The monthly figure inaccurate as it is doesn't tell the story.
The good paying jobs continue to be lost
and the replacements are part time low pay no benefits.

Coupled with more contracting out and foreign guest worker expansion
I don't see what future there is here for the middle classes and the next generation inside or outside of Quebec.

What do you do for a living that an import wouldn't do for less.

Thanks Ed ...... the problem with statistics is that they are fudged to tell a story that is less than the truth. What angers me is the media and how they and their financial commentators try to sugar coat a bad situation. As you say we are nearing the end of the middle class and this government is doing everything it can to bring it down.

I don't understand the logic, it is the lower income earners that are their greatest tax resource. Self employed and contract workers are not part of the monthly employment equation while temporary workers are. This is peak season for migrant farm workers which also skews the figures. They pay EI however under the new rules few if any are eligible to collect ..... and the Pukes of Canadian politics (the Tea Party Conservatives) push us further into desperation.
