WOMEN ARE UNIQUE .... Husband’s Message (by cellphone):

Honey, a car hit me near the office.  Alice brought me to Memorial Hospital, and they've been running lots of tests and taking X-rays. 

The blow to my head was been pretty bad, and will require about 35 stitches, but it looks like I'll be OK.  I also have three broken ribs, a compound fracture in the left leg, and they might have to amputate the left foot.
