Let me see if I understand "Harpernomics" correctly

OPEC controls the Worlds oil prices and OPEC is led by Saudi Arabia. OPEC decided to flood the World with cheap oil to put a stop, or at least slow, other countries like the US and Canada from gaining oil independence.

Low fuel prices are good thing for consumers... at the moment.

Then the other day our incompetent Prime Minister announced the sale of the Canadian Wheat Board to a Saudi controlled consortium. The "CANADIAN" Wheat Board, a board formerly owned and operated by Canadians, for Canadians.

The CWB was a Crown Corporation establish for the benefit of wheat farmers and had a monopoly on the pricing and control of wheat shipped to markets around the World. Then Stephen Harper told Canadians it was a liability and he was shutting it down against the will and advice of farmers and economists.

Wheat farmers offered to buy the CWB and run it as a co-operative board "by Canadians, for Canadians. The Hapless Harper Regime said "NYET".

It is important to note that when a foreign company based in a Commonwealth country attempted to buy Potash Corp. the Hapless Harper regime said "NYET" citing that Canada would be giving up too much control to a "foreign entity". In reality it came down to threats from Brad Wall and a fear of political repercussions from the voters of Saskatchewan.

But now he is selling off control of Canadian wheat to a foreign interest that already controls the price of our oil and who will now decide the price of our bread....
