Harpers Chimpanzee's have no pride and no self respect... My POV

Stephen Harper's back bench Chimpanzee's have absolutely no self respect, we all can understand his cabinet and their lack of pride in Canada and the rule of law but how can the average MP who has been elected by the citizen's of their riding go back to their constituents and tell them that they represent and uphold the laws of Canada?

Theirs and the Conservative Senates insistence on secrecy and the concealing of information, information that is the legal property of the Canadian people smacks of China and North Korea.

There is definitely an "air of entitlement" in the Conservative Party that is far more dangerous to the citizens of Canada than the threat of terrorism.

Corruption and suppression of civil liberties and human rights in Canada are slowly becoming the norm while the brain dead, dyed in the wool conservative sheep, accept this new way of life.

A friend who once taught at a university in mainland China tells a story of how he gave his students an assignment whereby they were to study and prepare their own notes and individual thoughts for an open discussion. On the day of the class discussion chaos reigned, the class almost erupted into violence, the students were not accustomed to self expression and the majority of the them followed party lines while those who had free thoughts were set upon by the party faithful.

He learned his lesson and never had an open discussion class again as the conservative thoughts of the party faithful were unable to think freely.

Because the vast majority of Canadians either vote along party lines or for a particular leader it has come to the point where MPs believe their role is to serve the party and their party's leader rather than the wishes of their constituents. That is highly objectionable.

The role of the MP is to represent the views of those who elected them. The party may adopt a strategy and a viewpoint, but the MP does not work for the party.

Change is needed - Big Change.
