Laprarie

Did some of the GFP old boys ever encounter these things during thier trecks to Laprarie?

Thanks Ivan...... as a boy, living on Tiffin road in St. Lambert Willy Jensen and I rode out to Laprairie on our bikes, I was about 13 and Willy would have been 14.

We decided to fish "little river" a tributary that was fed by the St. Lawrence. Neither of us had fishing rods but we each had a chain with clips to hold fish. We laid on a rock and dangled our hand into the quick moving water, when the fish came to rest at the back of the rock we would grab them with our hand. By days end we had our chains full of fish as we were heading to our bikes fishermen on the shore asked how we caught so many fish since we didn't have rods, when we told them they wouldn't believe us.
